AM/PM Position
The Bleu team is looking for a host! At Bleu we aim to provide exceptional service and hospitality to all patrons and the host is responsible for making this exemplary first impression. We are looking for an individual capable of providing positive engagement, service, and assistance to our team and all guests. This position requires patience and kindness while demonstrating effective communication with adequate knowledge of restaurant procedures and our food & beverage menus. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and reliable individual excited to work in a face-paced high energy restaurant. Bleu Northeast Kitchen provides a sophisticated and comfortable dining atmosphere complimented by time honored traditions to deliver lively cuisine and distinguished guest service to guests and our local community seven days a week.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Great guests and provide efficient and memorable customer service to restaurant guests and hotel patrons
Ensure a positive dining atmosphere is provided for all from the moment of arrival until their departure
Observe, monitor, and respond to any and all needs guests may have while dining
Demonstrate adequate knowledge of menus and be able to answer questions related to services, hours, reservations, wait times, and any other questions that might arise
Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Work in a safe and organized manner, adhering to all guidelines and standards of Bleu Northeast Kitchen & Marriott brand goals
Must be a team player and self motivator
Ensure a neat and tidy restaurant spaces for guests and other employees
Take orders and use POS system to relay orders to food and beverage preparation areas for hotel guests and take away patrons
Clean and set tables
Answer phones and providing excellent customer service for inquiries and take-away services
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
