Bleu Dishwasher

The Dishwasher at Bleu Northeast Kitchen is responsible for ensuring that restaurant service and kitchen operations are well supported with the cleanliness of dishware, cutlery, and utensils. The person in this role is responsible for the storage and organization of all assigned storage areas, including serving and banquet stations. This position is vital to the success of the restaurant team and culinary staff. Maintaining a clean and dry work station and kitchen environment is important for functionality and staff safety.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Set up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks

  • Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine

  • Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishware

  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine

  • Unload clean dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly

  • Maintain clean/dry for station throughout the shift

  • Properly wash, stack, and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers

  • Maintain trash, compost, and recycling receptacles throughout shift and remove full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift

  • Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves

  • Follow daily dish cleaning duties and procedures

  • Assist in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed

  • Must be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Must work in a safe and organized manner, adhering to all guidelines and standards of Bleu Northeast Kitchen and Marriott brand goals

  • Must be a team player and self motivator

  • Ensure a neat and tidy work space for guests and other employees
