Line Cook / Garde Manger
With both full & part-time positions available, we are looking for AM & PM Line Cooks to support or restaurant and kitchen team. The Line Cook at Bleu Northeast Kitchen is responsible for preparing dishes, following recipes and ingredient instructions, while showing passion for quality and service. We are looking for someone with previous culinary experience who is able to ensure consistent and high quality food preparation and plate presentation. Teamwork and communication between line cooks is essential to the success of service and we are looking for a positive, and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Cooks food properly and in a timely fashion, using appropiate safety precautions.
Daily execution of specified station within the kitchen, including maintaining inventory, quality control, and an accurate prep list.
Communicates with other kitchen team members to ensure food is on time and prepared correctly.
Comply with scheduled kitchen sanitation and ensure all standards and practices are met.
Ensure use of FIFO (First in-First out) system, all ingredients must be labelled and stored properly.
Shows passions for local & sustainable ingredients.
Must be able to lift up to #50 repeatedly during a day.
Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed.
Must be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must work in a safe and organized manner, adhering to all guidelines and standards of the restaurant and Marriott brand.
Must be a team player and self motivator.
Insure a neat and tidy work space for guests and other employees.
