Banquet Server

Members of our serving & banquet team ensure that all guests who attend events, parties, dinners, and celebrations at the Courtyard Burlington Harbor and Bleu Northeast Kitchen are shown exemplary hospitality. We are looking for kind and courteous individuals to help conduct food & beverage services at a high level of professionalism. Duties include set up and break down of events, observing guests needs while providing thoughtful and efficient service, knowledge of food and beverage menus, ability to work in a fast-paced team oriented environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing efficient and memorable service to guests

  • Ensuring a positive dining & event atmosphere

  • Knowledge of menu, answering questions, making suggestions regarding food and beverage tastes

  • Observes and monitors guests to respond to or predict any and all needs the guests may have

  • Must be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Must work in a safe and organized manner, adhering to all guidelines and standards of the restaurant and Marriott brand

  • Ensure a neat and tidy work space for guests and other employees

  • Is knowledgeable on all food served and any associated allergies

  • Serves food and beverage to guests using appropriate standards for timing and hospitality

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Be able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest and clients
